The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce is once again proud to host the Hefner Furniture Christmas Parade!
This year, the parade will be on a SATURDAY! The event will conclude the Downtown Park Hills Association's Christmas in Our Hometown, scheduled for SATURDAY, December 9, 2023!
This year's theme is "A Superhero Christmas".
Parade participants are encouraged to design floats that represent their most cherished/favorite SUPERHERO! But, Remember! Not all superheroes are Marvel or DC! There are also real-life, everyday Superheroes! Family Members, Teachers, Emergency Responders, Mentors, Community Leaders, and Spiritual Deities, just to name a few! The options are limitless!
We are excited to announce that this year's Parade Route will once again follow the Homecoming Parade Route!
Parade participants will be lined up along Westwind and Davis Court. The route will begin at St. Francois Avenue, go to West Main Street, follow West Main to Rinke Street, and then make a right onto Stone Street, ending at the High School.
This year's event will CONCLUDE the Downtown Park Hills Association's "Christmas in Our Hometown"!
Prior to the parade, Santa will be taking photos & visiting with children at the Park Hills Farmers Market. There will be Horse and carriage Rides, Christmas Vendors, Hot Cocoa, Cotton Candy, and more! Click Christmas in Our Hometown, to learn more about this fun event!
The Parade Schedule is as Follows:
- 2:00 p.m. - Christmas in Our Hometown Begins at The Park Hills Farmer's Market
- 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Photos with Santa at the Farmer's Market
- 6:00 p.m. - Parade line-up - All parade entries MUST BE LINED UP BY 6:00 p.m.
- 6:30 p.m. - The Hefner Furniture Christmas Parade Begins

Float Prizes:
- 1st Place - $200 Cash, a Collectible Snow Globe (Valued at $100), & a Gift Basket from Hefner Furniture & Appliance
