Committee Meeting - Scholarship Committee

A meeting of the Scholarship Committee members is to be held at The Leadington City Hall immediately following the Board Meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at approximately 9:00 a.m.

The Scholarship Committee Members are responsible for the following items in relation to the Chamber's Scholarship Program:

• Creating and outlining a scholarship program offered from the Chamber to select Central High School students for attendance at one of our local community colleges
•  Recruiting representatives from Central High School and the local community colleges to serve on the committee
• Designing the scholarship guidelines
• Coordinating the scholarship program with Central High School and the local community colleges
• Funding the scholarship
• Selecting the scholarship recipient
• Evaluating and improving the scholarship program periodically
