Park Hills Police Department will be hosting a Drug Take Back Program April 21-26.
The police department, for the convenience of residents, will be accepting your prescription medication throughout this week. You may drop your medication off at the Park Hills Police Department anytime from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If for some reason you can not drop off your medication during this time period, you may call through Central Dispatch, 431-3131, and an officer will come by and pick your medication up.
This only applies to the citizens that live with in the city limits of Park Hills. If you live outside the city limits you can still drop off your medication at the Park Hills Police Department.
This event is being hosted with the Missouri Rural Water Association and the DEA. The message they are trying to convey is to not flush your medication. Bring them to your local police department and have them properly destroyed. This will help prevent water contamination and pollution to our environment.s read better so please use this instead of first one.
