Mineral Area College will host a Ribbon Cutting at the MAC HVAC/R Technologies Center on Friday, February 23, 2024, immediately following the State of the County Address, which begins at 9:00 am in MAC's Industry and Technology Center.
The new 4,800-square-foot building is located off College Road on the south side of the Mineral Area College campus. It houses the HVAC/R Technologies program, which officially began classes in the Fall 2023 semester. We're excited to be hosting this ribbon cutting as part of our Career and Technical Education Month activities, offering our community the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about the HVAC/R Technologies program.
This event is free and open to the public. Please join us at approximately 10:30 a.m. or after for the ribbon-cutting festivities and to tour the facility.
Our Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration program offers hands-on training in current technology for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, installing, and maintaining heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and energy systems.
Classes are held in a dedicated, brand-new 4,800 sq. ft. building located off College Road on Mineral Area College's Park Hills campus. State-of-the-art HVAC trainers, virtual trainers, new and old equipment, and sheet metal fabrication equipment fill the space to give all students the hands-on knowledge and experience needed to excel in their field.
