Job Type: Public Health Professional | Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

The St. Francois County Health Center is seeking a motivated RMA or CCMA to serve as a Communicable Disease Investigator. This public health professional will play a vital role in preventing and managing the spread of communicable diseases through surveillance, education, immunizations, and patient care.

Job Duties Include:

• Conducting disease surveillance and investigations (including STD/HIV, TB, and immunizations)

• Educating individuals, families, and community groups on disease prevention

• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, schools, and community organizations

• Performing clinical duties such as blood draws, TB skin tests, pregnancy testing, and immunizations

• Attending public health events and continuing education workshops

Qualifications:

• Completion of Medical Assistant training and certification (CMA or RMA)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience

• Public Health experience preferred but not required

Working Conditions:

• Regular use of computer and phone equipment

• Light to moderate lifting required

• Ability to work in a clinical and office setting
