Job Type: Public Health Professional | Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
The St. Francois County Health Center is seeking a motivated RMA or CCMA to serve as a Communicable Disease Investigator. This public health professional will play a vital role in preventing and managing the spread of communicable diseases through surveillance, education, immunizations, and patient care.
Conducting disease surveillance and investigations (including STD/HIV, TB, and immunizations)
Educating individuals, families, and community groups on disease prevention
Collaborating with healthcare professionals, schools, and community organizations
Performing clinical duties such as blood draws, TB skin tests, pregnancy testing, and immunizations
Attending public health events and continuing education workshops
Completion of Medical Assistant training and certification (CMA or RMA)
Minimum of 1 year of experience
Public Health experience preferred but not required
Regular use of computer and phone equipment
Light to moderate lifting required
Ability to work in a clinical and office setting
