PARK HILLS, MO – The Park Hills Senior Center will host a Fraud Awareness community event on Thursday, November 6, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 224 W. Main Street, in downtown Park Hills.

This free event is open to the public and aims to help residents better recognize scams, identify common warning signs of financial abuse, and learn what steps to take if they or someone they know becomes a victim.

The program will feature Cpl. Dallas Thompson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, who will share important insights and practical tips on protecting personal information and avoiding scams.

Guests are invited to enjoy The Wise Grounds Coffee Bar and pastries during the event.

“Education is one of the best defenses against fraud,” said event organizers. “This is a great opportunity for community members—especially seniors—to learn how to protect themselves and their loved ones.”
