Parkland Health Center Celebrates Grand Opening of Expanded Women’s Imaging Center

Park Hills, MO — September 9, 2025 — The Park Hills – Leadington Chamber of Commerce was honored to join Parkland Health Center, along with representatives from the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce, Desloge Chamber of Commerce, and Bonne Terre Chamber of Commerce, for a ribbon cutting celebration marking the grand opening of Parkland Health Center’s newly expanded Women’s Imaging Center.

This $2.3 million expansion project nearly doubles breast health service capacity, enabling the center to serve up to 12,000 patients annually. The expansion was made possible through the support of the Parkland Health Center Foundation and the generosity of the surrounding community.

The state-of-the-art facility now offers enhanced diagnostic and preventive services, including:

• A 3D mammography unit with stereotactic breast biopsy capability

• A second mammogram unit to increase appointment availability

• Advanced OB ultrasound technology

• Enhanced bone density scanning services

“This expansion represents a significant investment in the health and well-being of women throughout our region,” said Parkland Health Center leadership. “We are proud to provide advanced imaging technology close to home and grateful for the community support that helped make this possible.”
