St. Francois County, MO – Over the past 20 years, the demand for emergency medical services in St. Francois County has more than doubled. During that same period, the funding that supports local ambulance services has grown by only 54 percent. According to the St. Francois County Ambulance District, call volume has steadily increased year after year.
